Presentation of the President's book “Turkmenistan - Heart of the Great Silk Road” was held in Istanbul
On November 27, 2017, the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey jointly with the most prestigious Bahçeşehir University of Turkey held a solemn presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan “Turkmenistan - Heart of the Great Silk Road”.
The ceremony was attended by the rector of the Bahçeşehir University Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın, member of the Istanbul University Associate Professor Nurcan Güder, lecturer of the Bahçesehir University Associate Professor Maksat Ashyralyyev, the Head of the Solidarity and Assistance Association Turkmenistan-Turkey Ismail Necdet Aygün and Chief editor of journal of Atavatan Türkmenistan Dovran Orazgylyjov and members of organizations, societies, professors and experts of higher educational institutions, representatives of media as well as students and citizens of Turkmenistan residing in the Republic of Turkey.
During the forum, official presentations were made by the rector of the Bahçesehir University Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın, Consul General of Turkmenistan Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov, member of the Istanbul University Associate Professor Nurcan Güder, lecturer of the Bahçesehir University Associate Professor Maksat Ashyralyyev, the Head of the Solidarity and Assistance Association Turkmenistan-Turkey Ismail Necdet Aygün, guest speaker Serdar Nurmedov and Chief editor of journal of Atavatan Türkmenistan Dovran Orazgylyjov and Chief editor of newspaper Bosfor Talha Balık.
Speakers at the solemn event, noting the contents, chapters, deep thoughts, features and other significant aspects of the book, said that the book of the President of Turkmenistan pays special attention to the multilateral economic, political and life features, the rapprochement of the cultures of the Silk Road, the development of civilizations, cultural heritage, strengthen economic, scientific and cultural ties between East and West.
At the end of the event guests and participants were offered the dishes of the Turkmen national cuisine.
