Reception devoted to The 25th Anniversary of Independency of Turkmenistan was held in Istanbul

Reception devoted to The 25th Anniversary of Independency of Turkmenistan was held by Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul at November 14, 2016 at Fuji Ballroom hall of “Swissôtel The Bosphorus”. Reception program continued in coordination with national dances performed by Turkmen students and video previews introducing developments achieved in all sectors of Turkmenistan. The reception was attended by Deputy Governor of Istanbul, representatives of consulate generals and international organizations located in Istanbul, executives and employees of several social organizations and citizens of Turkmenistan living and studying in Turkey.

Wreaths sent by several organizations on the occasion of holiday event titivated the entrance of ceremony hall. Exhibition introducing about high levels reached by Turkmenistan was held in the event venue. Guests became acquainted with introductive materials placed in the exhibition and magazines introducing great developments achieved in our Independent Country, especially special edition of magazine devoted to 25th Anniversary of Turkmenistan.

At the beginning of the ceremony, national anthems of Turkmenistan and Republic of Turkey were performed. The Holiday event was opened by the speech of Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul. In his speech, levels reached at all areas of  economy of Turkmenistan under the wise leadership of Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, wide range works carried out towards further enhancing life conditions of Turkmen people and brother relations between Turkmenistan and Republic of Turkey were emphasized. Then Deputy Governor of Istanbul Ismail Gultekin was invited to give a speech. Deputy Governor congratulated all citizens of Turkmenistan on the occasion of 25th Anniversary of Independency and wished further development of Turkmenistan. During the event, souvenirs on the occasion of 25th Anniversary of Turkmenistan were presented to press employees and members of education sector for introducing through media and announcing about great successes achieved by our state in all sectors developing under visionary leadership of Esteemed President of Turkmenistan, 25th Anniversary of Independency of Turkmenistan, Global Sustainable Transport Conference to be held in Ashgabat at November 26-27, 2016 and The V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games to be held in Ashgabat at 2017.

After presentation of souvenirs, dinner was started. At the dinner, several foods and traditional Turkmen meals “Turkmen palav” and “Turkmen yarma” were offered to the guests as a great example of hospitality of Turkmen people. Holiday event continued with national dances performed by Turkmen students and video previews introducing successes achieved by Turkmenistan. Reception program did have an effusive character. Guests stated their gladness for the invitation and wished peaceful life and further development to Turkmen people.
