The Path Approximates the Hearts

Our fathers, who have unlimited reverence literary, knowledge and creativity, have looked as a holy books that are the source of wisdom, before. Each book is very important to find our own place in human life and to educate our younger generations that will be our bright tomorrows, as modern educated, decent, hardworking and patriotic people.

Our esteemed President, who has great reverence for the national principles of our grandfathers, is always pleased our people with his magnificent books. One of the books of the revered President is a book titled "Turkmenistan - The Heart of the Great Silk Road", which he gave to us. As we have said, "Visit to the past - continue to the future", dear President tells us about archaic and majority of civilized civilizations such as Nusay, Merv and Köneürgenç, as well as about holy Turkmen land covering Ceyhun and Bahri-Hazar and about the impact of the Great Silk Road on the economic and social development of the states.

Starting from China-Manchi, the distant landscapes and caravansarays appear in the places where the Silk Road passes have developed not only in Asia but also in European countries. This has affected the development of science as well as economic-trade relations among the peoples of the world. We can observe these when we read the new book of the President of the Honourable President based on historical sources. Because this is the original statement of the literary and civilized heritage of our heroic ancestor, this book of our National Leader is talking about the history of the Great Silk Road, our glorious past, our present and bright future, and the prosperous life of our generations.

The book includes six chapters, and in the fifth chapter called "In Dashoguz's archaic land", telling about our supreme people such as Muhammad al-Horezmi, Abu Reyhan al-Biruni, Necmuddin Kubra, Mahmut Zamahshari and Nurmuhammet Andalyp. Their work in science, literature, history and civilization as well as their creativity that has not lost importance has turned into civilized heritage of the peoples of the world, not just our Turkmen people. We wish continuation of such works which important to humanity.
